5 of 5 Perfect for sketchy running ascents/descents July 11, 2015

I grabbed this before some early season backpacking in the Wind River Range and it was perfect for some of the snow covered trails that ended in cliffs.  I also used it for running in the Tetons to help ascend some steep passes and self arrest during some glissading.  It's not tall enough for traditional use but is super lightweight and perfect for running.
