Petzl Am'D H-Frame Black Screw-Lock Carabiners available in black at OmniProGear come with a manual screw-lock with a red band that provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked. The carabiner's D shape is suited for connection to equipment like descenders or positioning lanyards. The aluminum construction is lightweight, which reduces the weight of equipment the worker at height must carry. Involuntary snagging of the carabiner is highly unlikely to happen because the Keylock system is devised to specifically prevent that risk. A favorable strength-to-weight ratio is ensured with the carabiner's H cross-section. Its fluid interior design is favorable for manipulations. The carabiner has CE EN 362 and EAC certification, and comes with a guarantee of three years from the manufacturer.
